I wonder how many of us use Yahoo for making searches and how many use the big G. As a fact, I myself never use Yahoo for searching over the internet. Though Yahoo still remains my favorite free email system, I make almost every searches in Google.
So, I was wondering how many of us do actually use Yahoo for making searches. I wanted to know this for one very specific reason – the Yahoo Overture. As of now, Yahoo still remains at the top in Alexa. But I think, it is the free email that is bringing them the maximum amount of traffic. I have read though, that Yahoo is a preferred search engine in some of the countries, so maybe these countries are contributing from the search point of view as well.
Anyway, I use yahoo and msn when I wanted to check if my websites are ranking good in them. But the irony is that, I get better amount of traffic from MSN and Yahoo then Google. So, I will still remain a Yahoo fan though I am addicted to Google too!
